BOOKING POLICY

  • Bookings are essential, a minimum of 50% deposit of the total accommodation cost is required to confirm a booking.
  • All bookings MUST be PAID IN FULL 28 days prior to arrival.
  • All accommodation prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST. These prices are subject to change and price changes are up to management’s discretion. If there is a price change due to the financial year and your booking has not been paid in full, the booking prices will be amended to reflect the new price.
  • 50% deposits are accepted via transfer, credit card or cash. If paying via transfer, please provide an email with the receipt attached as proof of payment.
  • Please note that credit card transaction fees apply and are at the rate of 0.5%.
  • Changes to booking dates are subject to management’s discretion.
  • When booking, if there is a particular caravan site, cabin or tent site that you wish to stay in please let us know. Staff will aim to accommodate you to the requested accommodation; however, availability is subject to change.
  • We reserve the right to move your booking to an equivalent site/cabin category for the same period.
  • Additional charges will incur for excessive cleaning of cabins, damage to property and or replacement of missing equipment and items. Credit card details will be kept on file for 24 hours after your departure.
  • Park management reserves the right to cancel any bookings that do not comply with our park rules.
  • Park management reserves the right to refuse entry into Collie River Valley Tourist Park
  • Persons under 18 years of age MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless prior management approval.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

  • All cancellations MUST BE ADVISED IN WRITING (i.e. via email), before any refund can be considered.
  • NO refunds will apply for booking changes reducing the length of stay unless prior management approval.
  • Bookings cancelled or altered less than 14 days before arrival do not qualify for any refund.
  • No-show bookings do not qualify for a credit or a refund.
  • 50% deposits are non-refundable with less than 14 days’ notice of cancellation.
  • PLEASE NOTE: ALL CANCELLATIONS will incur a $25.00 Administration fee per booking.

CARAVAN CLUB BOOKING CONDITIONS:

An email is to be sent to us prior to the arrival date of your caravan club’s booking. This email MUST consist of the following:

  • All attending member’s names, contact details, accommodation needed (i.e. a site, cabin) and equipment size. (This information ensures that we can accommodate your club members best).
  • The required number of sites/cabins for your club members.
  • Arrival and Departure dates for the booking.
  • If your club member is a member of G’day Parks they need to inform us upon booking

As per our booking policy, a 50% deposit for each is crucial to ensure the confirmation of the club’s booking. Guests must then call our office to book in and pay. Guests MUST inform us if they are staying longer or shorter than the dates provided in the email.

Please inform us of the confirmed guests coming to our park, either via email or phone call. We require this information a month before the booking arrival date.

For all bookings payment in full is due 28 days prior to arrival.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT INFORMATION

  • Check-in time is 2:00 pm on arrival date.
  • Check-out time is 10:00am on departure date.
  • Please note that early check-ins and late check-outs may be available for bookings. This is dependent on availability of sites/cabins and upon request.
  • Early check-ins and late check-outs will incur a $20.00 fee; this is subject to management’s discretion.
  • Please note: Only one vehicle is permitted per bay. If you have additional vehicles they MUST be parked in the designated parking area by the office. This can only be done with prior management approval. No equipment (unless previously approved by management) is permitted on our grounds.
  • If you are running late for your booking, we have a lockbox system in place. Please let us know via email or phone call that you are running late so that we are aware and can send you a SMS with the lockbox code. Once you have received the code, input the code into the lockbox and locate the envelope/envelopes with your name and site/cabin number.

COMPANY PAYMENT CONDITIONS

  • ALL bookings MUST BE PAID IN FULL WITHIN 48HOURS of the booking enquiry. Payments made outside of the requested date must be approved by management.
  • Companies MUST provide each worker’s contact details, including their name, mobile number and email address. This ensures that a late check-in SMS with the lockbox code can be sent to the worker if necessary.
  • If long-term accommodation is cancelled by a company, a penalty equivalent to a two-week stay will be incurred. CANCELLATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY A PHONE CALL OR EMAIL , this is in accordance with our terms and conditions.

COVID 19 CANCELLATION POLICY

In correspondence with consumer law, guests will have the option to select a new date for their existing booking if they contract COVID-19. This new date can be up to 6 months from the original booking date. Transfer of booking is only considered if the below criteria apply.

  • You or an immediate family member contract COVID-19 before the booking arrival date
  • You need to self-isolate as per National guidelines.
  • You have taken a COVID-19 test and are awaiting the results.
  • A State Government or Commonwealth Government directive is issued and means that you are no longer to travel to or from your destination.

Any difference in booking value from the original booking to the amended booking MUST be paid directly to Collie River Valley Tourist Park as per our booking policy.

If you require a change to booking dates in relation to the COVID-19 Cancellation Policy, the customer must contact Collie River Valley Tourist Park directly.

Proof of evidence of having COVID-19 MUST be provided to Collie River Valley Tourist Park before any cancellation or transfer of booking can be considered. This MUST be in the form of a photograph sent to our email with written notation stating that you have contacted COVID 19 and need to transfer or cancel your booking. Additionally a letter from your doctor that states that you have contracted COVID -19 . Please inform us of your booking number and arrival date so that we can accommodate you.

Any cancellation which is deemed non-applicable to the Cancellation Policy needs to comply with our parks Terms and Conditions.

PETS

Collie River Valley Tourist Park is a pet-friendly caravan park. We welcome responsible pet owners with well-behaved pets to stay at our establishment.

A $25.00 pet fee per cabin, per night will incur for guests wishing to have their pet stay in the cabin. This charge is non-refundable, and more charges may apply. These charges will apply if there is more than one pet, or if the pet has created a mess and additional cleaning of the cabin is needed. This is subject to management’s discretion. Please note that prior management approval of pets in cabins is required. Upon booking, please inform Collie River Valley Tourist Park if you wish to have a pet stay in the cabin.

To ensure guests with and without pets enjoy their stay, it is crucial that pet owners abide by the following rules:

  1. Pets MUST ALWAYS be kept on a secured lead of no more than 2 meters whilst in the park. It is up to management’s decision to allow any pets in the park.
  2. Pet owners MUST IMMEDIATELY clean up defecations on park grounds from their pet, if you require dog bags please inform the office, and we can provide them to you.
  3. Pets are NOT permitted to be left alone, on-site at any time during your stay.
  4. Pets are NOT permitted to make loud noises or behave in anti-social or destructive manners at any time. Please ensure that your pet does not disturb other guests and residents.
  5. It is the pet owner’s responsibility for any personal injury or damage of property caused by their pet. Fees may apply.
  6. Under no circumstances are park facilities such as the washing machines, driers, laundry trough and the camp kitchen sink to be used to wash pet bedding or pets.
  7. Park facilities including the camp kitchen, ablutions, laundry and BBQ areas are always out of bounds for all pets.
  8. We are unable to permit large dog breeds as they may cause anxiety and fear of safety for other guests and residents.
  9. Any dogs that are registered as a dangerous breed are not permitted in the park and may be refused entry unless the owner provides a Vet Certificate of Safety.
  10. Management reserves the right to ask a guest with a pet to leave immediately, with no refund given if any of the above rules are not followed or if the pet is causing a nuisance.
