Following the cancellation of last year’s Festiv Arty, Collie is proud to introduce its reimagined community arts festival: Collie Creates. This refreshed event continues the tradition of celebrating local creativity, with a diverse exhibition showcasing works by talented artists from the region.
While no formal opening event has been planned, the exhibition will be open to the public and on display for five weeks, offering ample opportunity to explore and enjoy the wide range of artistic expression that reflects the heart and spirit of Collie.
What does Collie mean to you? Here’s your chance to show it — through your own creative lens.
Theme: “Collie Centric”
A celebration of the people, places, stories, and spirit that make our region unique.
How you interpret the theme is completely up to you — so get creative!
We welcome entries across all visual mediums — whether it’s painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, or anything else you create with.
Who Can Enter?
Everyone! The competition is open to all residents of Collie and surrounding areas, regardless of age or experience level.
You don’t need to be a professional artist — just someone with a story to share, an idea to express, or a passion for creating. Whether you paint, sculpt, photograph, sew, or build — we want to see what Collie means to you.
Prizes
- First Prize: $100
- Second Prize: $50
- People’s Choice Award — voted by exhibition visitors
- Plus: Category awards across various mediums and age groups
